A new book from Kraft Family Professor and Director of the Center for Christian-Jewish Learning Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski explores implicit anti-Jewishness in Christian religious practices, from readings to hymns to educational materials. In Resisting Anti-Judaism: Practices of Christian Solidarity (Fortress Press, 2026) Joslyn-Siemiatkoski, a respected scholar of Jewish-Christian relations, argues that when clergy and congregational leaders address such religious practices and build relationships with local Jewish communities, Christians become better positioned to stand in solidarity with Jews in countering the rise of antisemitism in the broader world. On November 11 at noon, BC’s Center for Christian-Jewish Learning will host a webinar to officially launch Resisting Anti-Judaism.
