William Rugh, former U.S. Ambassador to Yemen and the United Arab Emirates, will speak at Boston College on Feb. 12 at 4:30 p.m. in Gasson Hall, Room 305. Rugh, whose career in US foreign service spanned 30 years, is the author or editor of several books on U.S. foreign relations and the Arab world, including Arab Mass Media: Newspapers, Radio and Television in Arab Politics, The Practice of Public Diplomacy: Confronting Challenges Abroad and the forthcoming Frontline Public Diplomacy.
