Werner G. Jeanrond, a professor of systematic theology at the University of Oslo, will present the Candlemas Lecture “Hopes, Hope and Radical Hope: Christian Hope and the Praxis of Love” on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in Devlin Hall, room 101. Jeanrond is the author of A Theology of Love, Theological Hermeneutics: Development and Significance, and Call and Response: The Challenge of Christian Life, all of which have been translated into multiple languages.
