Boston College Professor Maxim D. Shrayer will read from and discuss his newest book, Leaving Russia: A Jewish Story (Syracuse University Press), on Mar. 31 at 4:30 p.m in the O’Neill Library Reading Room. Leaving Russia was a finalist for a 2014 National Jewish Book Award. A professor of Russian, English, and Jewish Studies and a bilingual author and scholar, Shrayer has published 10 books of nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and translations. The event is being held as part of the Arts & Sciences Dean’s Colloquium.
