The Boston College will host a reading from award-winning writer Zadie Smith on Apr. 1 at 7 p.m. in Gasson Hall, room 100.Smith’s first novel, White Teeth, was the winner of the Whitbread First Novel Award, Guardian First Book Award, James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction, and the Commonwealth Writers’ First Book Award. Her most recent novel, NW, was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize and the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
