wounded heroesIn her newest book, Wounded Heroes: Vulnerability as a Virtue in Ancient Greek Literature and Philosophy (Oxford University Press, 2013), Boston College Associate Professor of Philosophy Marina Berzins McCoy examines ways in which Greek epic, tragedy, and philosophy can lead readers to consider their own vulnerability and to engage compassionately in the vulnerability of others.
