Author Jonathan Decter will present “Jewish Thinking about Islam and Christianity in Medieval Spain” on Mar. 25 at 5 p.m. in Stokes Hall 195S. Decter is associate professor and the Edmond J. Safra Professor of Sephardic studies at Brandeis University. His research focuses on Jewish literature in the Islamic World during the medieval period and in Sephardic Studies. He is the author of Iberian Jewish Literature: Between al-Andalus and Christian Europe (Indiana University Press), which was awarded the 2007 Salo W.
