Writer and CBS This Morning contributor Lee Woodruff will discuss how caregivers cope during a crisis at the Connell School of Nursing’s Pinnacle Lecture on April 10 at 5 p.m. in Yawkey Center. Woodruff is the co-author of In an Instant: A Family’s Journey of Love and Healing, a bestseller about her family’s experience after her husband, ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff, was critically injured in Iraq. An advocate for veterans, survivors of traumatic brain injuries, and their caregivers, Woodruff co-founded the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which assists wounded service members and their families.
