Catholic periodicals facing the future

The chief editors of three prominent Catholic magazines will come together Feb. 20 to discuss the opportunities and challenges they face amidst new technologies, polarizing religious discourse, and changing demographics among American Catholics. The panelists will be Matt Malone, S.J., editor-in-chief of America; Commonweal Editor Paul Baumann and Meinrad Sherer-Emunds, executive editor of U.S. Catholic. Tom Roberts of National Catholic Reporter will serve as the moderator. The event, The Future of Catholic Periodicals: Finances, Faith, and the Digital Age, will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Gasson Hall, Room 100.
