The Irish Times Religious Affairs correspondent Patsy McGarry will discuss child sexual abuse and the Catholic Church on Mar. 24 at 4 p.m. in Devlin Hall 101. McGarry’s work has been recognized with a National Media Award and the Templeton European Religion Writer of the Year Award. His publications include The Book of Jesus Reports, Christianity: Articles from the Irish Times Series, and While Justice Slept: The True Story of Nicky Kelly and the Sallins Train Robbery. He also wrote First Citizen: Mary McAleese and the Irish Presidency, the Irish president’s official biography.
