Paul Lakeland, the Rev. Aloysius P. Kelley, S.J., professor of Catholic Studies and chair of the Center for Catholic Studies at Fairfield University, will speak on “The Vocation of the Church: One Calling, Many Roles” on Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Heights Room. Fr. Lakeland is the author of eight books, including the award-winning The Liberation of the Laity: In Search of an Accountable Church and Catholicism at the Crossroads: How the Laity Can Save the Church.
